Caplan St-Charles Manor

In September 1997, Mr. George Cyr and Mrs. Diane Poirier acquired the St-Charles Manor, then owned by Mr. Yves Archambault, a residence that, at that time, only had 12 residents. From 1997 to 2012, he transformed this former legendary Caplan hotel, which was well known at the time for its wedding receptions, to a superb 84-unit seniors’ residence overlooking Chaleurs Bay.

In December 2012, wishing to have a well deserved retirement, Mr. Cyr and Mrs. Poirier pass the torch to Christine Dubé and Francis Vadnais, eager to continue the work of their predecessors.

For more than twenty years, the St-Charles Manor has been well rooted in the community of Caplan and Chaleurs Bay, and will continue to be so for a long time.
